PDEA at BOC may joint investigation sa nakapuslit na bilyun-bilyon pisong halaga ng shabu

Nagsasagawa na ng joint investigation ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency at Bureau of Customs kaugnay sa smuggling ng shabu na nakalagay sa magnetic lifters.

Sa pagdinig ng House Dangerous Drugs Committee sinabi ni PDEA Region 4A Director Adrian Alvarino na magkatuwang na sila ng BOC sa ginagawang malalimang imbestigasyon sa insidente.

Ayon naman kay PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, ipinagharap na nila ng reklamo ng DOJ ang apat na sangkot sa smuggling ng shabu sa Manila International Container Port.

Kabilang dito sina Chan Yee Wah Albert, Zhang Quan, Vedasto Baraquel, at Maria Lagrimas Catipan.

Samantala, humingi ng executive session si Alvarino sa komite upang iulat ang mga lumalabas sa kanilang imbestigasyon.

Hindi anya nila maaring ilabas ito sa publiko dahil ongoing pa ang kanilang imbestigasyon at follow up operation.
