Napapalibutan ng “powerful storms” ang mata ng bagyong Ompong.

Ito ang naging pagsasalarawan ng US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) sa bagyo na patuloy na nagbabanta sa bansa.

Sa kaniyang blog sinabi ni Bob Gutro ng NASA Goddard Space Flight Center na ang mata ng bagyong Ompong ay napapalibutan ng makakapal na powerful storms na ang kaulapan ay may temperature na -70 degrees.

Maari umano itong magdulot ng matinding pag-uulan.

Dagdag pa ni Gutro, maituturing nang isang Category 5 hurricane ang Typhoon Ompong.
