Nayon-Landing contract, walang bisa | DZIQ Radyo Inquirer 990AM

 

Walang bisa mula pa noong umpisa ang lease contract ng mga sinibak na opisyal ng Nayong Pilipino Foundation o NPF sa Landing Resorts Philippines Development Corp. o LRPDC.

Ito ang lumabas sa imbestigasyon ng Department pf Justice o DOJ, ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

Matatandaang inatasan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang DOJ na magsagawa ng rebyu ukol sa nasabing Nayon-Landing contract, matapos sibakin ang lahat ng mga board of directors and management ng NPF.

Ayon sa tagapagsalita ng Palasyo, batay kay Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra ay isang “build-operate-transfer o BOT contract” na nagkukubli bilang lease contract ang kontrata sa pagitan ng mga dating NPF officials at ng Landing para sa pagtatayo ng integrated casino-resort sa Paranaque City.

Ani Roque, dahil isang BOT project ang nabanggit ay dapat sumunod ito sa BOT law, kabilang na ang pagsasagawa ng public bidding.

Dahil dito, sinabi ni Roque na kaisa si Pangulong Duterte sa pasya ng DOJ na ang kontrata ay “void ab initio” o invalid.

Sinabi ng Palace official na ang kontrata ay tuluyan nang kakanselahin, kasunod ng review ng DOJ, kaya huwag na raw magpumilit ang Landing.
