Overall Deputy Ombudsman Arthur Carandang sinibak na ni Pang. Duterte

Tuluyan nang sinibak sa serbisyo ng Office of the President si Overall Deputy Ombudsman Arthur Carandang.

Ito ay dahil paglabag sa graft and corruption and betrayal of public trust.

Una rito naghain ng reklamo ang sina Atty. Manuelito Luna, Jing Paras, Glenn Chong ng Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption laban kay Cdahil sa pahayag sa isang TV interview kung saan sinabi niyang mayrong milyones na transakayon si Pangulong Duterte.

Ayon kay Carandang nakuha niya ang dokumento sa anti-money laundering council na kalaunan ay pinabulaanan naman ng AMLC na sa kanila nga galing.

Bukod kay Carandnag kasama rin sa inireklamo si Deputy Ombudsman for Minadanao Rodolfo Elman.

Base sa desisyon ng OP na ipinamahagi ni Executive Sec. Salvador Medialdea, “dismissed from the service: na si Carandang.

Forfieted din ang lahat ng kanyang mga retirement benefits, pinagbabawalan na kumuha ng civil service exams at bawal nang humawak ng anumang posisyon sa gobyerno.

Inabswelto naman ng OP si Elman at iba pang miyembro ng Office of the Ombudsman’s field investigation unit dahil sa kawalan ng matibay na ebidensiya.
