Oplan Tokhang ng PNP, ire-recalibrate

Magkakaroon ng pagbabago sa ipinatutupad na Oplan Tokhang ng Philippine National Police (PNP).

Ayon kay PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde mas magiging “relentless and chilling” ang kampanya bilang tugon sa naging pahayag ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kaniyang State of the Nation Address (SONA).

Ani Albayalde, inatasan na niya ang PNP Oversight Committee of Illegal Drugs na ire-calibrate ang Oplan Tokhang para sa nalalabing 1,656 drug users pa na nasa kanilang watch list na hindi pa nagsisisuko.

Mamatyagan din ng husto ng PNP ang mga aktibidad at kinaroroonan ng nasa 1,274,213 na drug users at street pushers na pawang mga nauna nang sumuko para matiyak na hindi na talaga sila bumalik sa ilegal na gawain.

Kasama ding imo-monitor ng PNP ang 215,323 users na naisailalim na sa rehabilitation.
