Inako ng militanteng grupong Islamic State ang responsibilidad sa pagpapasabog sa isang sasakyan sa Lamitan, Basilan.

11 ang kumpirmadong nasawi sa pagsabog sa isang military checkpoint sa lugar.

Sa inilabas na pahayag ng ISIS sa Amaq news agency, tinawag nila ang bombing attack bilang isang “martyrdom operation.”

Kinondena naman ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang naturang insidente na war crime.
