Gilas Pilipinas, tinalo ang Chinese Taipei sa FIBA Qualifiers

Wagi ang Gilas Pilipinas kontra sa koponan ng Chinese Taipei sa 3rd window ng 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Sa iskor na 93-71, tinalo ng Gilas Pilipinas ang team ng Chinese Taipei sa kanilang paghaharap sa Taipei Heping Basketball Stadium.

Si June Mar Fajardo ang may highest score na 22 points, habang si Jayson Castro ay naka 15 points.

Hindi rin nagpa-awat si Terence Romeo na may 14 points, at 13 points naman si Andray Blatche.

Dahil dito, ang Gilas Pilipinas ay may rekord nang 4-1 habang ang mga Taiwanese ay nasa 1-4 ang rekord.

Nauna nang sinabi ng coach ng Chinese Taipei na si Charlie Parker na medyo kinakabahan sila lalo’t matindi ang suporta sa Gilas Pilipinas ng mga Pilipino na nasa Taiwan.

At sa mismong laro, pinuno nga ng Pinoy fans ang Heping Gym.

Sa July 02, makakaharap naman ng Gilas Pilipinas ang kopona ng Australina sa Philippine Arena sa Bulacan.
