BBL versions ng Kamara at Senado, ‘certified urgent’ ni Duterte

Kinumpirma ng Malacañang na sinertipikahan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte bilang urgent ang Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) versions ng Kamara at Senado.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, matapos ang mahaba-habang deliberasyon, nagdesisyon si Pangulong Duterte na sertipikahang urgent ang dalawang bersyon at ipinadala na sa dalawang kapulungan ng Kongreso ang kopya ng sertipikasyon.

Ayon kay Sec. Roque, sa oras na mapagkasundo at maisapinal ang mga bersyon ng Kamara at Senado, agad laladaan ni Pangulong Duterte ang BBL bilang bagong batas.

Inihayag naman ni Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Bong Go na ang ginawa ni Pangulong Duterte ang sertipikasyon dahil ang pagpasa sa BBL ay labis na mahalaga.

“After much deliberation, the President has decided to make the House and Senate versions of the BBL as urgent and copy of it is on its way to both Houses of Congress. Once both chambers have reconciled and finalized the version, the President will sign the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL),” ani Sec. Roque.
